FAQ
Who all can fight?
Anyone! Anyone over 18 can fight with us. We have male and female fighters of all sizes shapes and ages within the Brotherhood. All are welcome. If you have the heart for battle we will be more than happy to teach you.
What will I need to fight?
We can provide arms and armor for you to use until you can create your own kit (fighting gear). All you will need to bring to practice is groin protection, both males and females are required to have appropriate sports groin protection. Male and female cups can be found at any sports store, though sometimes female groin protection has to be ordered online as it is more likely to be out of stock. Also any knee or elbow pads you wish to bring are always helpful, though not mandatory.
When and where?
We have a fight practice on a weekly basis in Bloomington, at Bryan Park at the Northern corner of the park on Henderson during the summer, and at Rhino's all ages club during the rest of the year. Practices start at 6:30 Wednesday nights, and generally run until 9 or 9:30. We usually go out to dinner afterwards as a group to socialize.
We have additional practices on an ad hoc basis at members apartments and living spaces, ask around to find out when!
